On the fifth anniversary of the Brexit referendum, Europe for Scotland released this video to remember the Brexit vote, reflect on the injustice of Scotland’s exit from the EU, and express the hope of welcoming our Scottish friends back into the EU.
The video includes more than 50 Scots and Europeans that speak in 14 different languages.

Scotland was dragged out of the EU, it is unforgivable what the Westminster Government has done to Scotland. I really hope and pray that very soon my country will be back in the EU.
As a Scot, I always believed in the Union, have always felt myself to be British first, then Scottish. Not any more. Brexit was a terrible idea. I am now, well and truly, a believer in Independence for Scotland. It may not happen in my life-time but I believe it will happen. Alba gu bràth.
Thank you for your support. It made me cry. We are out at sea with this cruel greedy self serving UK government who continue to ignore the will of the Scottish people.
Help us please. Help Nicola Sturgeon, First Minister of Scotland to free ourselves and be part of Europe once again.
It brought tears to my eyes, too.
we hope scotland in europe ,we are waiting ,we love scotland
Hopefully will join you again before too long!
Scotland has to be one of the only countries that have voted not to be independent I don’t understand that I know I live for that day and then we can work to make this country better and we are then responsible for our own destiny that’s what being independent means
Fantasztikus!! Briljant!! Sucess!!
In deference to the Auld Alliance, french people want Scotland to join the EU
And Irish people, both in Northern Ireland and Ireland itself, will rejoice when Scotland takes its seat at the EU table and finds its destiny with the other 27 nations. Faidh an Bealacht !
Scotland the brave come back in EU
We are keeping the door wedged open and the tea on for our Scottish friends homecoming! Don’t despair! Your Celtic brothers and sisters in Ireland!
Scotland has been a European country for centuries in the past and wants to be for centuries into the future. Remember that Mary Queen of Scots was married to the Dauphin of France (and Bishop Robert Reid was poisoned by Elizabeth of England’s spies in Boulogne after witnessing the marriage). See the red roofed vaults in Leith where wine imported from Bordeaux was stored. Or the trade with the Netherlands through the Schotshus on the harbourfront in Veere. Europe is our heritage – please help welcome us back.
Precisely! And I genuinely thought that since that time – Mary’s wedding to the Dauphin – every Scot person could ask for the French nationality and automatically obtain it. Does anyone else know about it ? or am I mistaken, Taking my wish for reality?
We are European, we always were and always will be. We want to be part of a union of equal partners from all across our continent working to make all our lives better, and wherever that union isn’t doing so well, we want to be part of improving it for all our sakes. We will be back in the EU soon!
Every person in my family is hoping we can re-join. I did not vote previously for an Independent Scotland but will vote YES this time to leave the UK and re-join Europe. Hope springs eternal!
A lie in lots of languages is still a lie.
I fair enjoyed the video right enough, I laughed out loud several times throughout the pantomime.
Cheers for that!
Heartwarming. My day was made better when I saw this video. Thank you friends in the EU.
