This website europeforscotland.com is operated by Europe for Scotland, a campaign registered as Europe for Scots Ltd, UK Companies House number 12464516, registered office Beaver House, 23 – 38 Hythe Bridge Street, Oxford, United Kingdom, OX1 2EP. The campaign is not affiliated to nor is it sponsored by any other organisation. It launched on 28 April 2021.  You can contact us by email on info@europeforscoltand.com.

This privacy policy is line with the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the UK Data Protection Act.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

We collect personal data when you sign our open letter on this website or on the Action Network website. This personal data consists of: email address, name, profession and location.

We also ask you to opt in to stay in touch when you provide such data. Providing such data is always optional.

The lawful basis on which we collect data under GDPR is for the legitimate interest of direct marketing. The term ‘direct marketing’ is interpreted broadly by the authorities to include our purposes as an organisation, namely political campaigning. You can opt out and unsubscribe at any time using the link in the footer of the email.

Children should not provide personal data without the consent of an adult.

The data collected is only used for the purpose of informing you by email about our campaign.

We will not process your data for any purpose other than the purposes stated in this privacy policy.

Our email list is stored in email service provider Action Network, and we use their software to send emails to our mailing list.
