I whole endorse this initiative as long as this bond between Scotland and the EU can be obtained within a constructive framework of cooperation with the UK. The EU can not and should not support the breaking up of a sovereign former EU member state unless this will be within a proper democratic process.
The UK was, is and remains an important part of the Western European history and civilization and loyal defender of our common values.
